TLotWO - ch 4 Some wolves either side of Zeke jumped for his wings. He dodges one but not the other and it latches on.
'arrr!' he swings his head around grabs him bt the middle and throws the wolf off.
Zeke leans in close to Maya and whispers 'im so sorry'
Maya looks at Zeke confused
'get on!' ordered Zeke.
Maya and Shiro jump on. as that moment Zeke jumps up and over the wolves. lands on the ground, turns his head to them
Maya eyes grow small. Shiro backs up with fear of Zeke's entencity. He falls off his back and does a backward roll. Maya turns to Shiro as he fell off.
She goes to carry him and sees the hole which leads into the cave below. She turns back to look at Zeke.
'Maya run! I'll get Shiro.'
She jumps over Zekes head and runs off into the grass.
TLotWO - ch 3 During the night the thunderstorm kept Zeke inside the cave, he didn't hunt. Maya awoke to Shiro wining in his sleep. Maya sat up and when she did so Zeke got up with her and sat next to her and the watched Shiro. Zeke wraped his wing around Maya and she grinned
'So whats the best way for me to remember things' Maya asked
'Well you could always do the things that you and him did together, that could bring back memories, or just think long and hard about it. We really do need your help Maya'
'I know, and she looked to the ground'
'Are you okay Maya?'
'Yeah im fine, so what do you think Shiro is dreaming of' Maya said
'I haven't the slightest idea' Zeke said back.
'hmm, well shall we go back to bed' Maya asked
'Yeah that sounds good' Zeke replied.
They laid back down and then as everything was calm, Zeke just w
My best friend?I am loved
I've played in mud
I sleep in a bed
Next to my best friends head
As the night goes on
I start to sing my midnight song
With my bedroom friends
The rocking horse, the boat and the binoculars with one lense
In the morning my best friend eats my toast
Sometimes I wish I could have a roast
When she goes to school
I feel like a fool
As i sit there looking at what's going on
I wait till my best friend comes along
I hitch a ride on the local bark bus
Wheh I get seen on it a lady makes a fuss
But that all changed as I knew
When my best friend grew
I was left there on the floor
As my so called best friend ran out the door
I got older and T got weak
No more games of hide 'n' seek
I once had a very best friend
But everything has to come to an end
TLotWO - ch 2 He swoops down and Maya grips harder.
'now where is it you put your pup' The winged one asked.
'I left him east of here'
The winged one made a sharp turn, frightening Maya. There was an awkward silence and the flew.
'here, this is where I left him, the last I saw he was flying towards the forest below'
They finally landed in a clearing. The winged one folded his wings.
'you're sure it was that forest?' he asked looking in that direction
'because that's winged territory, and we really hate intruders'
'but he's one of your kind?'
'he's half so it could do either way, lets just hope it's in our favor'
deep in winged one's territory......
Maya walked cautiously hopping to get a sent of her pup. The winged one was walking beside Maya with his wing h
TLotWO - ch 1The Legend of the Winged Ones - chapter one
Deep in the forest, on a dark, stormy night as the lightning broke from the clouds, the birth of a legend took place, inside a cave neighboring a waterfall, but this wasn't a happy occasion for some as the newborn let out its first cry, everything around fell to a silence, the wind picked up and sounded much like a scream, it sent a chill down the spines of everything living that was near, the mother of the newborn looked her first born and was shocked to see his eyes glowing, he already had teeth n he had wings. Even though she was told that this was the risk she took a few steps back with shock. At this moment she decided to keep the infant hidden, away from others. She would have to raise her son in this cave in the forest. No others could ever see her only son, for they would sure want such a child gone.
So she accepted her son and began to feed him, hours went by and infant fell asleep and the mother h
Her CatalystAs she walks through the maelstrom, the words trace upon the tips of her fingers and press into the stone. Every brick, every crack in the concrete, every crossed and angular stroke in reds and blacks and oranges. The drips of the gasoline pool around the base of her boots, slosh as she steps over the burst pipes and the rubble.
So much rubble. So little outcry. The silence of the city grates on her eardrums and the mantras she'd been forced to memorize. The Seers demanded they observe thirteen years of recitation before they attempt to weave their first World together.
But who other than the Seers can claim the incantations that knot the skeins they twist and pull on like reins hold fast? When have any of the Sisters recorded the visions they traced upon space-time and recited them, left them open for critique and discussion and debate?
Which is why she walks through the chalky soot of the smashed city around her. This all
