I've played in mud
I sleep in a bed
Next to my best friends head

As the night goes on
I start to sing my midnight song
With my bedroom friends
The rocking horse, the boat and the binoculars with one lense

In the morning my best friend eats my toast
Sometimes I wish I could have a roast
When she goes to school
I feel like a fool

As i sit there looking at what's going on
I wait till my best friend comes along
I hitch a ride on the local bark bus
Wheh I get seen on it a lady makes a fuss

But that all changed as I knew
When my best friend grew
I was left there on the floor
As my so called best friend ran out the door

'now where is it you put your pup' The winged one asked.

'I left him east of here'

The winged one made a sharp turn, frightening Maya. There was an awkward silence and the flew.

'here, this is where I left him, the last I saw he was flying towards the forest below'

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

This is my secret santa gift for

I hope you like it ^^

The first thing i did with this picture is look up cat references as they were cat characters XD I wasn't really sure of the pose but i wanted something cute

and the secret santa person wanted something coupley so i was thinking like touching poses one lying on their back and the other sitting but i couldn't get that to look right so i went for them sleep or lying next to each other like curled around each other type thing.

I also had an idea for the type of background i wanted, it didn't really turn out how i expected but i like it all the same. i was going to have some sort of back lighting to this but i decided against it.

Also I had 3 other secret santas to draw so i wanted to keep them all to a theme and i went with a badge type theme. I also added the nest to keep with that theme although i couldn't really add the characters name to it because i felt i would've been to cramped.

Also i think i've got anime's emotion right on this one 0.o *animecats01 if you feel it should be another colour combonation let me know XD i'd be happy to change it.

Also because of the pink background I decided to add a pink overlay to the picture so the colours seem lighter or slightly. Also I shaded the characters in pink too XD
