FREE Wolf Icon Base by Jenny2-point-0 FREE Wolf Icon Base by Jenny2-point-0
Decided to make this free wolf icon base.

Download Zip Contains:
-Animation Frames. PNG
-PSD. file

RULES

:bulletred: You're not allowed to do any major edits e.i change the species of animal but you can add accessories
:bulletred: You may colour any canine character that fits the anatomy.
:bulletred: If you know how you MAY edit the timing
:bulletred: You MUST credit me on your page or in your signature
:bulletred: You must favourite this deviation if you wish to use it.
:bulletred: colour this however you wish, there are no rules for that XD
:bulletred: Please do not use this outside of dA.
:bulletred: If you do end up using it as your icon let me know ^^ I'd love to see it

____________

How to use in Paint
1:bulletblack: Open the .png file in paint

2:bulletblack: Crop the first frame out removing the border, if you dont your icon wont fit as the bored makes it exceed 50x50

3:bulletblack: Colour the frames according and repeat this process for all the other frames

4:bulletblack: Once that's completed select a colour that isn't on your chosen character and head over to Iaza.com

5:bulletblack: Once on Iaza.com there should be an option to change a colour to be transparent, this is where you select your background colour

6:bulletblack: Read this tutorial on what to do next XD
Animation Tutorial by Sabino-Palomino

____________

How to use in Photoshop
1:bulletblue: Open the .psd file

2:bulletblue: Next go to "window" > "Animation" and check that it runs properly.

3:bulletblue: You'll see the layers named accordingly to the body parts. Colour your character accordingly. The layers that should be altered and coloured by you are called "colour" The layer is locked so colouring it should be fine.

4:bulletblue:  Once satisfied go to "Save for web & devices" ad then save again (you dont really have to worry about all the techy stuff you see there)

If you get stuck or have any questions Feel free to ask [=

I DO NOT ACCEPT REQUESTS

However icon commissions are open ^^

I've used gimp before so i know how i'd use this in GIMP.
I would open all the seporate frames in GIMP, bring them into on document make sure they're all alinged right, Then colour them. And then save it as a gif. There's also a "preview animation" option under window or filter somewhere. I can't remember exactly as I haen't used gimp in years.

(ty ;u;) I already know how to color it, but when I try to preview it, it shows ALL of the frames together nd it does it frame by frame :/ I mean.. it does it step by step as if it were a tutorial.

Arr right, i know what you mean now. It just layers the frames on top. and that's also how it will save out too.
Ok what you need to do is double click the layer name and type the following "(125ms) (replace)" after the layer name. The "(125ms)" is the time of your frame in miliseconds edit this how you wish [=
Then go to file> export > save as Gif and make sure you have the animation and the "loop" box ticked off.

That should sort your issue

haha yep [= Each frame needs that code after it. The "(replace)" will change the animation from layering the frames to switching out the frames. which was the problem you appeared to be having. Let me know how it goes and if you're still having issues

If you dont have it then it's assuming that it's in the same option. you'd go to "save as" > then change the file type to "gif" and check  the "loop" option.  and it should work
